Baptism is an act of obedience to the commands of Jesus found in Matthew 28:19- 20.
When a believer is immersed into the waters of baptism, it is a visible picture of the believer’s death to sin, and the burial of an old life.
The coming up from the water symbolizes the resurrection to the new life that is in them through Christ Jesus our Lord.
In following the pattern of Scripture, our general practice is baptism by immersion.
All who believe should be baptized. (Acts 8:12, 16:31-34, 18:8, 18:36-38). Believing in Christ Jesus requires repentance, faith, and confession on the part of the one being baptized (Acts 2:38, 22:16, Romans 10:9-10).
Children who understand the Gospel and can articulate their faith can be baptized at CF.
If you would like to be baptized at CF, please let us know!
