It is my pleasure to introduce the Construction Team from CF that will be working in Uzhhorod, Ukraine. The team members are Donnie Limper, Jonathan DiLallo, Mike Basnett, Stephen McBee, and Caleb Miles. We will be working alongside members of local churches who are building small homes for the Romani people, who are a global nomadic ethnic group.
The houses we are building all have a similar design and are in the same area, like a new neighborhood. Last night we were excited to learn that we will be staying in some of the recently built houses with the local team while we work on additional houses. We look forward to fellowshipping with local believers and Romani people as we open ourselves to what God has for us.
We are honored to participate in this project that will provide shelter and security to people who have been displaced during the war, and we pray that these homes will become places of worship and be filled with the love of God.
1. Please pray for our team as we prepare to leave, that God would prepare us physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the work he has for us.
2. Pray for the local team that we will be working with, that God would give them strength and perseverance to continue this work that is ongoing and will continue long after we leave.
3. Pray for the Romani people that will occupy these homes, that they would find both physical and spiritual shelter. Pray that God would move in these spaces to turn the hearts and minds of the people towards Him, and that He would raise up a generation of people who will worship Him in the midst of the brokenness that this war has brought.
