September 2018 Leaders Meeting
September 06, 2018 - Phil Schaefer and Tara Freeman
1 Thessalonians 1: 2, 5: 12-22
At our September 2018 Leaders Meeting, Pastor Phil Schaefer gave the leaders of our church 3 goals, and each goal was related to our Grow initiative. The three goals were the following:Goal #1 - To create a layer of church leaders such as greeters, ushers, event volunteers, small group leaders under the age of 40 by the end of the year Goal #2 - For each leader to add one new person into their ministry Goal #3 - To be a tithing church not as individuals or leaders but as an entire church.Pastor Phil went into more detail for each of these goals, and he gave some of the vision or "why" behind all three. Then we discussed how we can Grow as a church by hearing some of the vision behind Grow from Tara Freeman, our Director of Member Care. To close the meeting, we discussed the goals Pastor Phil had given us as leaders around our tables, and we also shared how we felt called to step into growth this year.

February 2018 Leaders Meeting
February 01, 2018 - Phil Schaefer
Notes:Young Professionals Small Group Intro Announcements, Opportunities and Updates Phil's ExhortationGod is doing something in our midst and is going to do something in our midst Things to pray into and allow faith to arise in us this year.Where there is no way He makes a way. God calls those things which do not exist as though they do (Romans 5) No one is beyond hope. The prophetic is going to come as a sense of God's presence. The presence of God both personally for you and corporately for us as a church will be experienced. Our singing will be empowering. Our dancing will be empowering. Our waiting is empowering. There are going to be personal stories of healing of wounds in the depth's of people's hearts. There will be a connection to Grieving and the removal of Shame.Time of prayerThat God would seal the previously listed things into our hearts and cause faith to arise. That we would not let go of God until He blesses us. (Genesis 32: 22-32)
