What Are You Filled With?
May 15, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
Acts 2:1-4
All those who are in Christ are to experience the reality of the filling of the Holy Spirit; to encounter the Holy Spirit. Pastor Phil encourages us to continually seek the Holy Spirit, while reminding us what that actually means. He asks, "If we aren't full of the Holy Spirit, then what are we full of?"   For an extensive historical and theological study of the Baptism and filling of the Holy Spirit, please review the sermon series entitled "The Helper," found here.
A Mother's Day Message

2 Cor. 5:4-5; Rom. 8:23

May 01, 2016 - Michael Acock
Acts 1:12-14; Isaiah 40:27-31

April 17, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
Psalm 145:4
Pastor Phil shares an update on the vision for our future. We believe God is calling us to increase our capacity to receive more people and reach more nations with the Gospel of grace. Justified in Christ: Living in Hope of Glory
April 10, 2016 - Donnie Berry
Romans 5:1-3
No one can boast of their goodness, of their special privilege or place before God. We're all on equal footing; we all stand as sinners condemned before God. At the same time, Paul says God has done something incredible, stunning, through Jesus' death on the cross - for us and for our sins. God has made a way for sinful rebels to become his beloved people. God is justifying the ungodly, considering them righteous, because of their faith in Jesus. So now all, have equal access to God and his mercy.
Jesus on the Other Side
April 03, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
John 20:24-28
Jesus remained on the earth for 40 days after his resurrection doing a very specific thing from the other side. What Jesus wants with us is more like falling in love than it is following a manual on how to get life right. He wants us to know Him in our failure as much as in our successes. This is the message he gave to Thomas who doubted Him and to Peter who denied Him. Failure will not define our journey. Jesus is the one who defines us and He does not fail.
Death Is Not the End of Our Journey
March 27, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
1 Corinthians 15:19-28
The resurrection is a prelude to what life after death will look like. Taking a closer look at Jesus in the 40 days between his resurrection and ascension to the Father reveals a glimpse of what life beyond this life looks like.
The Cross: The Centerpiece of History
March 20, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
Revelation 1:4-8
Understanding the truth of the cross will lead you to say "The cross is what defines my understanding of life, my very existence, the universe itself." This kind of understanding transforms us and our view of all things.
Do You Glory in the Cross?
March 13, 2016 - Phil Schaefer
Gal 6:14
To 'glory' in a thing is to display the excellence, to boast, or to rejoice in it, but the cross is a paradox, an offense, a mystery. It cuts against the grain of everything that we could think about God and ourselves. So, what is it to glory in the cross?
