Middle School Students (6th-8th grade)
Sunday morning meeting to engage Middle School Students
1st and 3rd Sundays, during the teaching time of the 11:00 service.
twelve30 youth room (please enter through North gym doors, not gym alcove.)
We know that, because of what Christ has done, He has made all who call on Him members of the family of God. Here at Christian Fellowship, we hold a high value for family in all its forms. We design our corporate Sunday morning services as a time for the whole family of God, young and old and everyone in-between, gathering together in worship, giving, teaching, and prayer. We also understand, however, that it can be difficult for the younger ones to comprehend what is being expressed in a teaching that is oriented for the older saints.
The format of these meetings will be structured enough to keep a sense of order and yet engage those who are tweens (those who are no longer a “kid” but not quite a teenager). Our time together will include a time of teaching, small group interaction, and fun designed specifically for boys and girls in middle school. The students will be dismissed to the Youth Room after the announcements, at the same time that cfKidz are dismissed. To avoid confusion in the Gym Alcove, Middle School Sundays students will use the Gym doors at the far end of the locker hallway. (There will be people and signs to help direct you to the Youth Room.)
We are very excited for this opportunity to engage our middle school students through this class in a manner in which they can relate. And we look forward to having your child join us!
