All are invited to join us for light refreshments and a chance to meet the CFS artists at our upcoming Gallery Reception.
At the front of our classroom, we have posted the following verse:
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
This verse reminds us that the work of our hands is ultimately not for us, not for a grade, but for Jesus. We do not have any talent or skill that was not first given to us by the Lord, and we glorify him best when we reflect back to him the goodness he placed in us.
After a year’s worth of work, this show is our act of worship. It is an offering of creativity back to our creator with humility and gratitude.
