Cristina Nunez was born in Caracas, Venezuela and currently lives in Columbia, MO. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in England, Romania, Spain, Venezuela, Honduras, China, South Korea, etc.

She describes her artistic practice as a tireless impulse to "make what she understands as a vital pulse". Nunez's vivid abstractions are most often created with acrylics on canvas.
