Description: Has this season been hard for you? Are you struggling to see God’s goodness? Lament is how we bring our sorrow to God – but it is a neglected dimension of the Christian life for many Christians today. Join us for our summer book study “Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy,” and let’s journey together through the book of Lamentations. For each class participants will read a chapter beforehand and then we will discuss together on zoom. For the first class please read the introduction and chapter 1.
Materials Needed: Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy: Discovering the Grace of Lament by Mark Vroegop. Copies are available for purchase by calling the Skylark Bookshop here in town or ordering on Amazon. This book is also available as an audio book on Hoopla through the Boone County Library.

Description: Discovering CF is a seven week class taught by our pastoral staff which covers the core distinctives of our vision and values of who we are as a church. It is a great class to take whether you are just curious to learn more about CF or looking for a church home. We are not looking for total agreement on any of the topics discussed, yet it is our heart to express the calling God has given us and to live out that calling together in an atmosphere of community.

Youth Groups

Twelve30 (youth) Wednesday Group led by Marc

Christian Fellowship Church's Wednesday Youth Group Meetings
Students in 6th-12th grades – this is for you. You never know what to expect – come ready for engaging worship, to hear great teaching, and have lots of fun!
In respect to social distancing, we will be meeting as two separate age groups. We will begin with High School meeting in-person on September 16th and Middle School in-person on September 23rd. We will continue forward alternating weeks between the two groups.

Youth group will be from 7pm-8:30pm. Please have your student picked-up by 8:45pm. This allows our awesome leadership team time to sanitize the room before leaving.

We have an in-person Youth Bible Study at 11am in the youth room. We will be meeting weekly until Middle School Sunday’s resume (November 1) at which point it we will meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Weekly Outdoor Prayer on Sundays at Christian Fellowship ChurchYou can join us in between 10:30 a.m. and noon on Sundays in the church parking lot near the South foyer doors for prayer. You do not need to be at the service to participate in our outdoor prayer time.

Weekly Prayer RequestsYou can also stay connected by joining us as we pray over our prayer requests throughout the week. You can use the link below both to get to the prayer requests as well as submit a prayer request you have. Please note we remove names for privacy purposes before posting prayers online.

Prayer Trios

Prayer trios are groups of three people who pray together weekly. Once you have two others to pray with, you can pick a time and platform (phone, text, zoom, Facebook messanger, etc.) that works for you. The idea is to pray together for one hour, once per week. However, you can make this what you want and do what works for you. As Phil mentioned, “though we are limited in direct contact, we are not limited in our prayers.” Let’s pray.
